PlantMinder products can be used to nurture indoor and outdoor plants of all sizes in various containers, including hanging baskets, window boxes and grow bags. The product range allows plants to take the water they need and so you don't over water, damaging the plant and wasting water. The pack contains a single PlantMinder Standard Cone in cardboard tray, shrink wrapped with instructions. The Standard Cone can be used all year round, it will eliminate watering guesswork and save water. Liquid Feed can be added as required and is reusable year after year. The Standard Cone, like all PlantMinder products is easy to install with full instructions. One fill lasts up to 6 weeks - refillable.With a simple and elegant design, the PlantMinder consists of a porous terracotta clay cone, which is planted deep into the soil next to the plants roots and a reservoir globe that mounts on top of the cone. The porous cone allows water to seep through the PlantMinder ‘on demand' as the plants wraps its roots around it and takes only what it needs, avoiding the necessity for constant re-watering or the danger of drowning the plant. This makes the PlantMinder ideal for holidays when no one can water the plants or even for those less green-fingered people who can be a little over generous with the watering can. Dimensions Height = 5 inches / 12.7 cm Width = 2.5 inches / 6.35 cm Capacity Large Plastic Globe holds approximately 1 pint of water. Total water capacity of Standard Cone + Globe approx. 1 litre of water. Suitable for Larger Containers / Pots from 25cm diameter upwards and can also be used in an established 10 - 12 inch hanging basket instead of the PlantMinder Ring. The Standard Cone must be placed in the centre of the basket for this to work successfully. Recommended for established, small hanging baskets as alternative to the PlantMinder Ring.
